Petition to Governor Dunleavy: Immediate Release of 2024 Election Data (click on the above link to sign)  The Content is as follows:   The Issue We, the undersigned citizens of Alaska, are concerned about the lack of transparency in the release of voter data from the November 5, 2024, general election, particularly the second- and third-choice votes in the ranked-choice voting system.  Withholding this data contradicts the principles of transparency and accountability outlined in Alaska’s Public Records Act (AS 40.25). As Alaskans, we have a right to access public records that inform our understanding of the electoral process. The public’s right to know is essential to maintaining trust in our democracy, especially in complex elections that use ranked-choice voting. Without access to this raw data, we are left in the dark about how second- and third-choice votes affect the outcome of congressional races and the integrity of the election process.
